Testimonials

"Silent Waters" is a very beautiful book, and it even exceeded my high expectations in many ways. It is an excellent collection of highly inspired and inspiring photographs. The choice of paper, IMHO, perfectly matches the style of photography, and I love that the minimalist "less-is-more" approach is also reflected in the sparse and always well-balanced inclusion of poetry to complement the images. Even the linen cover looks and feels like a perfect match for its content. In an age where we often consume the world around us through digital media, the simple act of browsing through a physical book can be a memorable haptic experience... The images are all amazing, and I didn't see a single one that I did not find aesthetically pleasing and stunning in its own right. I love how the images encourage me to slow down and take them in one by one. I'm very happy with the book, and it is one that I know I'll be pulling off the shelf from time to time, accompanied by a glass of wine and some good music to complement the experience. It is obvious that the attention to detail that goes into your work as a photographer is also reflected in every aspect of the book, turning it into a unique work of art that is much more than a collection of beautiful images." Thomas Senf, Berlin

“I received your
“Silent Waters” on Monday. Exceptional images and great accompanying poetry! The verses from T.S. Eliot are perfect for your minimalist captures. Very special work! Looking forward to viewing your future images and hopefully, future books as well!” Gary Kastal, USA

"George, your two books are simply out of this world! No wonder why you are an award-winning artist receiving many accolades! Your work is truly inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing these treasures with me." J. P-M., USA

"That is a big truth George…both of your books are a refuge for the soul and an inspiring source.! I always refer to them when I am looking for some peace of mind.! Congratulations" Yota Poulman, Greece

“Hello. I am also the happy owner of George’s book. And I can confirm that the book is fantastic. The screen does not reflect such beautiful frames. I look at the album in the evenings, taking my time noticing more details of the photos. This is a great gift for any photographer.” Paweł Stasina for "Silent Waters"

"I think the choices you made for the different papers in the two books complement their respective images nicely and their case bindings give the photographs the respect they deserve. I will revisit both books over time and I expect to appreciate them even more each time." Jeff McDonald
